  1. Rugby League.  No pads or helmets

  2. I agree with gfcbarracker in saying American Football. Although rugby do deliver some hard hits, American Football is still more brutal. Some people say rugby because they don't use pads, but if they didn't use pads they'd be in hospital!

  3. Totally different types of hits, but Rugby requires more endurance and power.

  4. omg gfc dont even try to compare aussie rules tackling with rugby league, aussie rules players dont even use their shoulder

anyways as far as rugby leage vs american football

rugby league you have to be a lot fitter id say on physical level american football could be a bit tougher but then again they are wearin pads and a helmet.

but still rugby league is bettter

  5. rugby leauge is the toughest game on earth by a long way. Can there b a game more physical game? no.

i bet its hard to smash someone that isnt watching.....its like you going to your fridge in the morning to get your milk and some guy spear tackles you from behind. Dats the only big hits u see in the NFL , little quarter baks getting hammerd just standing der not even seeing some big black over w8 fu.k running rite at him. Yea real tough sport

serioulsy a cowards sport if you have to wear helmets, and afl isnt a sport.

and its called league u dumb bitc.hes, not rugby

  6. rugby

they dotn even wear pads and we americans think were tough

  7. Probably about the same but the Rugby guys don't get a rest between "downs". Australian Rules Football isn't for the faint hearted either.

  8. Rugby all the way

  9. both!!

  10. rugby, period

  11. Rugby.

  12. I would say both   every sport is different, but I respect your choices in sports

  13. American football by miles or kilometers.

The speed of the players, the hits delivered, the pads and helmets are necessary or there would be 5-10 fatalities in each game. The idea in American football is to put the ball carrier in the cemetery, not just in the hospital, hit him hard enough that he doesn't want to run the ball again, quit. In rugby, a tackle is to wrap arms and bring the ball carrier down, same in footy. If you deliver a blow, that is a penalty or a foul.
