  1. According to Hank Hill, propane is a lot cleaner.

  2. Propane no doubt, but charcoal gives you a little more grill flavor, especially if you use some hickory chips too.

  3. Propane is much cleaner burning.

  4. propane,, but we only grill with charcoal

  5. Propane:  Charcoal is REAL dirty...I always have to wash my hands after handling it (but it's worth it!).

  6. i agree with the posts above.

Hank Hill is an american hero.

  7. Propane.  It burns cleaner.  Charcoal makes more smoke and leaves residue.

But I won't grill over propane.  The emissions from my charcoal fire are miniscule.

  8. Propane...

  9. PROPANE PROPANE IS A DOUBLE BONDED ALKANE HYDROCARBON AND WHEN BURNED IT RELEASES FORMS OF CARBON MONOXIDE WILL IS TOXIC TO HUMANS BUT HARMLESS TO OUR PLANET. NOW CHARCOAL IS SIMPLY SCORTCHED WOOD AND WHEN WOOD IS BURNED IT RELEASES CARBON DIOXIDE WHICH IS THE LEADING CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING. PROPANE IS MORE EVIROMENTAL FRIENDLY!

  10. Let me take a slam dunk against these fanatics...

Does burning wood leave the same global warming exhaust gas as does rotting wood?

The answer is a resounding YES!!!!

People are determined to remain uneducated.

So, let's stop all natural processes occurring and kill all the plants by getting rid of their food source....  CO2

  11. propane

  12. It depends on how you define "clean".

Propane is cleaner to burn. But charcoal is better for the environment, because it's a renewable resource. Propane, like all fossil fuels, contributes to global warming, while charcoal, which is derived from plants, does not. The carbon emitted by burning charcoal was taken out of the air when the plant was growing, so the net effect is zero.

  14. propane because its a gas

  15. It is a case of the lesser of two evils propane is the better of the two for a start charcoal also releases sulfur and other particulates.

Cindy W for someone who has claimed to work in the nuclear industry continues to post comments that be more like those of a snearing high school kid, her reply doesn't appear to even be trying to answer the question..
