Staying in school and trying to complete my associates degree or working full time to get caught up on my bills and then finally pay off my credit card debt. I am now thirty years old, I have been paying my way through school and working either part-time or full-time jobs. I have been financially supporting my family and trying to afford to stay in school. But it's so hard working long days and going to school at the same time.Bills are adding up and I am always broke. The more time goes by the harder it is to continue with school. What do you think is more important?

  1. SCHOOL- think about it-- if you finish school, then you will find better work and it will help you in the long run. Just struggle through it for now. See if you can find an easier job that requires a skill that you have already learned through school or something.

However if things get too complicated, then you may have to put off school for a while but don't quit altogether. Finish what you started.

  2. Every one knows that, we school to become a responsible worker one day.School is essential. There is a level of education needed to be a kind of worker and will surely earn you much more than a worker with no school.

Look at your country's statistics about that and you see for your self.

  3. School is more important but in your case work is because you need to support your family and pay your bills. With school your bills will double.First work, save some money, pay all your bills, and then you could go to school.

  4. WOW...that's a catch 22!!  Can you go to school at night? How about an online degree?  How many more credits do you need to get an associates and what will you have a degree in?  I would think about what the degree is going to get you...a better and higher paying job? Are you going full time?  If so, take one class a semester that may take forever but it won't kill your pocket.  Work a job on the opposite days or while the kids are in school.  That would open up your mornings for your family and possibly allow you to save on daycare  (if that is also a concern).  I finished my degree when I was 29 and it took forever...and I dreaded it...but I now have a teaching job.  Good luck...school and debt seem to go hand in hand and it can be extremely stressful.  Keep your chin up!!

  5. SCHOOL

  6. School but if you don't have any choose do both  in the easy ways........

    Good luck

  7. While school is important and a degree may get you more earning power, having food on the table and a roof over your head now, is much more important.  If it's gotten to the point where providing the basic provisions for family (including happiness) are in jeopardy, quit school for now.

As you continue working, you may be able to set money aside to put towards schooling at a future time, or find a job that will subsidize schooling for you.

  8. School is more important.
