Well I'm a basketball fan so i would rather watch basketball but swiming is more important to a country because there is a chance for more medals because in basketball you can only win one medal but in swimming there is multiple events so you can get more medals. Especially if you have micheal phelps.

Is there any other televised swimming competition than the Olympics?I don't follow swimming so I don't know for sure but it seems like its only televised during the Olympics.Most people will only see Michael Phelps every four years so I guess its more important.NBA basketball is much better than basketball in the Olympics and we get to watch the NBA every year.

I watch Phelps swmming competitions, but I'm really tired of seeing him everywhere on ESPN, its getting really annoying.
