Torres-Shasha...the hyphen is there for a reason.

Depends on where you are (customs can be different in different countries), or what shows on baby's birth certificate.  Your avatar makes me think your last name is Torres.  In Mexico, babies have both the last name of the father and mother.  In the US, some mothers give a combined name to a baby, like in Mexico.

It looks like Torres-Shasha is the complete last name.
