Whats my car worth really?

i look it up on kelly bluebook and cars.com,etc. but i have a trans am so because of that i know its worth more than what these things say.

i mean like those sites say a 79 trans am is worth like 2,000 which is bull. but alll the sites count is year, miles and condition. so were can i find my cars value with demand and collectable value added in? anywere?

your right the actual value of that car is probably worth more that the bluebook will state, however if somebody doesn't really care what kind of car they drive then it's worth exactly what bluebook says

Based on your description I wouldn't sell that car for less than 4 or 5 grand.

Your car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.  In my experience, MOST people think their car is worth more than it really is.  Put the shoe on the other foot - if you saw your car with a for sale sign in it, and you had to buy it like any other used car - how much would you pay for it?  Probably less than what you think it is worth...
