  1. You have a good chance.

    Good Luck!!!

  2. Your degree and military experience may help you get hired.  It really depends on the department you are applying for.  Usually the bigger the city, the more applicants you are competing with.  The first step that is often overlooked is filling out the application correctly.  Make sure you read the directions carefully.  Also, some departments require proof of your education such as diplomas and transcripts.

The military experience will really help if you get hired and when you attend the policy academy.  Good luck.

  3. just using what you stated only your chances are fair. there is a great deal done to get hired. it is a very long process.i just can not give you a good answer because to did not give us enough information.

  4. I'd say excellent

  5. I would say you have a really good chance with your experience. In my area the departments look for college or military and if you have both anyone would take you. You are in good shape to get on to a police or sheriff department

  6. It depends on what type of police job you are looking for.  Are you looking to work for the state, county, or city.  It also depends on the state you live in.  For example, there are currently 24 open slots for patrol officers in Little Rock Arkansas.  However, getting on with the state police almost always requires a recommendation from a political leader.
