Whats my realistic chance of me getting into dental school.

im biology major ,,,.........graduated and my gpa is 2.6 cummulative and my grades for pre med are like this

physics 1 and 2= C

ORganic chem 1 and 2 = B

organic chem lab = B

calculus 1= C

my science gpa i dont know exactly but its aroudn the high C and low B range.

do i have any chance of doing dentistry? if i do really well on the DAT any chance? what kinda Extra volunteering thing should i do to help me??

  1. You sound like you have a good chance. You could volunteer to help at your local dentist for experience.


  2. Medical Volunteering would help, but your chances aren't that great I'm afraid. You don't need to do good on the DAT, you need to slaughter it. If you really want to be a Dentist, you need to be in the top 5% of scorers minimum. Study five hours a day, every day, take a prep class, and take at least 12 practice tests. Good luck!
