Whats one song that has made you think about your teenage years?

I'm only 15.. but when I listen to some songs, I think about my life, how much I've changed, what was then and what was now.

Today, listening to this song from one of my favourite bands: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYMPpTKoD... - I have realized how much I've matured, and how much things I've learnt that your normal average 15 year old wouldn't know. Also a better person and a better daughter, sister and friend. If you've ever listened to a song that made you think about your life, What song was it?

What did the song make you think of that happened in your life?

Thanks all.

  1. Not Ready To Make Nice- Dixie Chicks

My mom had me with a different guy then the one she is married to. My step-dad has always been considered my dad. They broke up for a few weeks and that's when she got pregnant with me. My dad knew that I wasn't his but raised me as my own. They've gotten over it... I even have a little sister to prove =) But I decided that I needed to meet my bio-dad. He was an absolute loser and I hated him. I saw him twice a month for about six months. When he decided not to come to my last chorus concert ever (I was quitting) in ninth grade because of bad tires in the summer time... I decided that he was nothing more than a sperm donor to me and my momma. His girlfriend's nieces and nephew stalk me online and stuff.

Also I had two girls who were once friends bully me so bad this year on and off I had to drop out of school. The school did all they could and my parents contacted their parents and they still wouldn't stop.I am now getting my GED and start college in January.

I wouldn't wish my teenage years on anyone =(

  9. going to sound daft but the outhere brothers - wiggle wiggle

this song because me and a mate used to have such a laugh dancing to it and singing. it was a song that went round high school this year. then a girl killed herself in our year, that was her favourite song and got played at her funeral. never thought of that song the same again. it wasn't something that you could dance to and sing to any more.

  10. I think Dont Blink By Kenny Chesney

Your Gonna Miss This By Trace Adkins

Maybe even Angel by the corrs.

    Why?

Dont blink because time REALLY does fly and you have to enjoy every second of it, and i think the same goes for your gonna miss this. Angel by the corrs reminds me of just a teenage girl and kind of reminds me of the days i was in pagents.

  11. You're Gonna Miss This by Trace Adkins

I wanted to rush through my years as a kid and teenager, grow up and have a family.  Now I have a beautiful daughter and amazing husband, but can't help feeling like I missed so much because I rushed through everything.

  12. We Rode in Trucks- Luke Bryan

Mostly the part below about the bus, that was always completely how my bus was.

There's a lot about life we learned on a bus,

How to lie, how to fight, how to kiss, how to cuss.

The closer we sat to the back, the smarter we got.

We were poor, we were ugly, we were all best friends.

Wide-eyed, baptized, and still wantin' to sin.

Thank God we get more than just one shot.

Where I grew up, we rode in trucks.
