Whats panorama assist on my digital camera?

Panorama assist is a mode where the camera will help you align two or more images to stitch them together to make a bigger one.  

You take one image and move the camera to the left or right and take another.  The camera's LCD will show you the first shot *and* the second in "live" mode before you press the shutter so you can line up features of the scene which will make it easier to join the images together in your computer.

I've heard of some cameras that will stitch together images for you to create a panorama.  Read your manual to find out how to use all the features.
