Paypal is a site where you can put money on and that allows you to buy things online. So its pretty much is a safer way to buy things online without having to give out your bank account number or credit card number.

if you set up an account with paypal you can register your bank account or a credit card. then when you buy something online you can use paypal to pay for it. paypal would then take the money from your bank or credit card and the person/establishment that you purchased the item from would never see your banking information. they would only see paypal information. it's a way to keep yourself safe during online transactions.

They are owned by ebay and pretty much ran by ebay. They will back you up on any and all transactions. They safe gaurd you from fradulent sellers and give you a refund if you never recieve product google them they are great. I go through them to sale all the time.
