Whats peoples views on the Olympics,especially the football.

just interested peoples views. I personally am not keen, football tennis and golf being high profile sports are not what i concider the olympics to be about. Rifle shooting,10Km open swim judo and that sort of stuff. i also enjoy the athletics [even though i know they also are now highly paid]. Should highly paid players in the PL be going of to Bejing.

It's a stupid idea, the age restrictions are farcical, also, the fact that clubs can choose whether or not to release players is a complete joke.

What club will choose to let players go and play for someone else while the club still pays the player's wages. Lastly, it does not fit in with the football calendar, it interferes with the premiership and champions league qualifiers, the olympics is about athletics and such things, not ball sports.

I agree i really don't watch Olympic football and golf and so on i watch gymnastics, track and field swimming events (diving included) i love that stuff.

cannot wait for it to start.

i heard the air was polluted though must be tough for the competitors.
