Traditional Play Dough

Ingredients

1 cup flour

1/2 cup salt

1 T alum powder

1 cup water

1 T oil

2 T vanilla

a dash or two of food coloring

In a big bowl combine flour, salt and alum. Gradually add the oil and water. Cook over low to medium heat, stirring constantly. When it reaches the consistency of mashed potatoes, remove from heat. Add vanilla and food coloring. Divide into balls and knead in color.

its like clay except it doesn't dry and get hard its for little kids to play with and it is about the concistency of bread dough it is fun to mold and to squesh together and little kids love to play with it

Wheat,mineral oil,salt,borax(drying agent)perfume, and colorants.

You can easily make it at home, there are hundreds of dyf sites on the net.
