Whats "over hydration" like?

believe it or not, if you drink enough water without peeing, or any other way of draining yourself, then you die. there was a contest on a radio station near me where contestants had to hold pee for as long as possible and one lady ended up going to the hospital and dying. cant explain it scientifically, or first hand, just remembered the story.

Yeah, I did that before a MTB race - it was 95 degrees out and I was waiting in the sun for almost 2 hours to race. I drank and drank. I was bloated, couldn't breath well, felt like c**p in general. Then I started peeing and didn't stop for a couple hours. Needless to say, my race didn't go well.
