Whats rong with my computer

Question

Ok i just recently started getting the "Blue Screen of Death" It happens about every 20 mins when i logg on my computer then if i immeadiately try to reboot, my HP Beeps red on the power light and makes an annoying BEEP BEEP Noise. But the funny thing is, the d**n thing works like a charm at night, starting at about 9 I also have no viruses showing up on my anti virus , but i do get a thing in the virus collum that says Name: Hosts Discription Needs to be changed Path: windows/system 32 or sumthing

Please i am in desprate need for help Thanx :}

This more than likely is a themal (heat) failure or a bad ram memory issue. Count the beeps and goto your PC manufacturer home page search for or check for beep codes.. this will reveal what is wrong with your computer. Your Host file is used as a website blacklist not allowing access to that site route all requests to the bad website to 127.0.0.1 it is part of IE security. But it would of helped if you gave the full path it is possible that IE can not find your host file allowing for spyware/adware to be displayed on your PC.

Smitfraud is always a possibility but it does not explain the beeps. goto http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl... and DL spybot.. update it, then immunize your pc in spybot, then do the scan and apply the fixes. It is good at removing smitfraud variants.
