  1. maintaining the water...and its very expensive..you need the right kind of lights..live corals...and loads of things...

  2. i have a saltwater tank (well, 3 actually )

you have to do water changes a lot, you need good lights, it's hard to take care of the corals...

and you have to test the water a lot to make sure it's ok

  3. Read some more, you haven't gotten the idea yet.

  4. it takes alot to neutralize it and theyre are different salt requirements for different fish.

  5. Nothing.  It isn't hard at all.  It can be expensive but it doesn't have to be.  It is a matter of what you want to do.  Trying to get by without the proper equipment is hard.  You need an RO filter, protein skimmer, a refractometer, test kits and patience.  That is not a complete list but it is a list of things people try to do without that lead to problem after problem.  Everybody says you need to do fresh water tanks first but I don't necessarily agree.  You'll learn fresh water tanks that way but you still don't know how to take care of a marine aquarium.  Research and patience is the key; the only thing you can do fast with a reef tank is crash it.
