Whats so important about slow dances?

ive never dance once in my life but my boyfriend seems hung up on getting me to slow dance with him. ive already promised i would but why does a slow dance matter so much? im confused

ok..its not that its so important. Slow dancing is very intimate. He wants to be romantic and feel close to you. There is nothing wrong with that. You only live once girl. Live it up.
