Whats some ideas for decorating a bedroom?

I would like to decorate my bedroom and make it look more romantic/exotic and wondered if anyone has any ideas how i can do this. I have a queen bed and my partner is not much of a decorator..

when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements

(water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc

you can go with a color pallet of reds, dark rich brown furniture, some black, golds, and "maybe" hints of greens. have candles around to give that romantic warm feeling. if you don't want to go so dark use some white, it'll give that classy romantic feeling. Put some plants in your room to give that exotic feel, hence the hint of green. I hope I helped good luck!
