Whats something fun to do with a one year old?

Her birthday is in 2 days (party on friday). We wanted to take her to the zoo but its going to be hot out. Any ideas that will be fun for her?

I don't know if you know if there is a build a bear in your area, but I think that is a great activity you could do with your daughter.  She could pick out an animal and then help stuff it and "wash" it and dress it and name it.

Well, you could still do the Zoo... Maybe an early morning trip would be a good time. Since she is going to be one, her interest won't last all day anyway.

For a one-year old, just about any place you go can be made into an adventure. Just make the day extra special: zoo, playground, toy store, or mall; and at the end of the day, throw her a nice party with lots of gifts to unwrap.

The best part of the day will be watching her unwrap the toys and then playing with the wrapping paper and boxes...  :)

just spending the day with her will be fun to her.  Take her to the park and have a picnic.   Then maybe take her to the pool or if you have a little baby pool just spend some time with her playing in the pool.  She will have the best day just spending the day with you and having your undivided attention.
