Whats something good to wear to the races for a guy?

depends when you are going normally there is a dress code but a suit normally is fine with or without tie

Depending on where you plan on sitting at the track, you can where whatever you like, from shorts and a t-shirt to a 3 piece suit. I guess it is all about comfort, and as i said where you plan on sitting. In some places they wont allow you in the clubhouse unless your shirt has a collar on it, ie Saratoga

casual, jeans and western shirt,cowboy boots etc. of course if your going to get your picture taken in the winners circle a suit and tie would be nice!

All depends on where you're going. For a midweek meet I tend to go for jeans, shoes and either polo shirt or plain shirt. Weekend meets are a bit smarter while 'prestige' meets (e.g. Epsom Derby etc) are definitely suits.

However, if its just a point to point meet, wellies, salmon cords, Gingham check shirt and a Barbour coat is the standard.... unfortunately!
