  2. i am 12 too, and i found things to do during the summer. you can go swimming at a pool, or hang out with your friends. when your at your dads house, make fun out of it. ask him to take you to fun places. just dont sit around while summer comes to an end. keep running to practice for ttrack.

  3. go camping :D xx

  4. Depends how mature the 12 year old is

    but 14 is the law

If you're wanting to earn money and have a bit of fun

    why not try car washing

possibly get a friend to do it with you

then you have earned money too to buy things and do more this summer :)

    Hope you're summer roxxx XDDDDDDDD

    x*x

  5. It depends how mature you are, my little sister is 12 and she needs a baby sitter. So I doubt it

  6. its up to the perants of the child but leagally you have to be 14.  why dont you get some friends togethor and go to the beach or have a picnic or something? :)

  7. Sure! You can.

  8. Set up a little business, like car washing or dog walking.  Get a girlfriend and go door to door, or do it by yourself.  You can then have fun with the money.

Or learn a new skill, knitting/sewing, musical instrument, a language, cooking/baking, drawing/art, yoga (get a DVD).

If you take action and do any of these things, you will be so much happier.

  9. Go to summer camp or just stay home and watch TV and play video games like every 12 year old does these days.

  10. just chill.sleep and dring a bunch of coke and eat cookies and party with your friends.

  11. you could babysit.

    umm..

    yeahh

  12. Of course you can baby sit. I think a girl of your age should play a sport become better than your class mates at something when the year starts again. Eat different kins of food :), meet friends ! I think your mom is just making an excuse for you not to baby sit

  13. well why not? im 12 and i would love to be a babysitter! if your good with kids youll be fine but you should start baby sitting toddlers or older because other people probilly wont trust a 12 year old with there little new born baby! goodluck!

  14. I would say at 12 you could probably be a mother's helper more then a babysitter.  That way a mom could get some work done around the house, but would be there if anything goes wrong.  Try putting up mother's helper flyers around your neighborhood.  Think about places where children and parents would be.  Churches, parks, libraries.  Good Luck.

  15. Well. I think that you should go shopping, even if you don't have money it's fun to look. You can go down to the beach with some of your friends (that is if you live by the beach). You can. Go to a theme park. You can go swimming.

Well that is all i can think of. Hope that helps.

Oh and I started baby sitting when I  was 12. If you are responsible then I think it is okay. And you have to be good with kids.

  16. I dont think the parent would want to leave their child with an 12 year old ., check out some other sport or dance group if you like too !!

  17. Some parents may think you are too young to babysit their kids, but you could be a mother's helper.  Take care of the kids while Mom gets caught up on household chores.  Call the Red Cross.  They offer a babysitter's training program and give a certificate at the end.  See if they offer that class in your area.

  18. yes you can i do it and i'm also 12

  19. Too young to babysit for pay, but you can be a volunteer at a day care center if one will take you on.

Are there any local recreation programs being run by the town or city where you live?  Maybe you can join one of those - they will have lots of stuff going on - ball games, swimming afternoons, etc.
