  1. get a business plan guide you can get this from your local banks hey will provide you with information and cd roms to explain how to make a business plan and calculations of what you will need to open it then research on how big you want your business to be and where also how much are yu putting into it and how much you may need to borrow from a bank

    Speak to your local trading standards, enviromental health and business link for advice. Make use of free business advisors and mentors, and any free guides you can get.

    Market research - assess demand, spend time looking for locations that have the level of footfall, without competition.

    Planning - get the right planning consents for the building.

    Sourcing - check out the right suppliers for quality meats and produce

    Finance - Appointment with the bank, cashflow forecasts, raise capital, etc.

    Decide on business name and usp's if applicable.

    Set goals and timetables to complete each stage of the process.

    Consult solicitor with regards legal aspects.

    Marketing - get leaflets done up and perhaps offer home delivery, let people know your there - banners, leaflets on the high street etc.

    Job done put your feet up before the hard work begins....
