Whats studio art photography

just wondering what studio art photography is as i plan on studying it next year....year 11

The whole idea of a studio is you control the lighting so a lot of the course will deal with equipment (continuous light, flash etc.), lighting set ups and the various effects you can achieve. Technical things such as metering and exposure will be covered too. On top of all that you will cover the aesthetics.

All in all a pretty good grounding in Photography which applies to other genre's too.

studio is awesome, you are the god of light, you can have three suns, or anything you can imagine.......its where one learns to stop taking photos and start making images.....
