Whats teh average cost to get timing fixed on a sewing machine?

Used to be about $25.00 , but they have gone up since then.  You can fix it yourself if you have patience.  Just set the dial for the stitches per inch and then fiddle with the s***w tightness on the bobbin thread holder, using a tiny s***w driver.  You will have to take the bobbin in and out of the machine several times, running a piece of cloth through the pressure foot several times until you have it right.  Are you sure you have threaded the bobbin thread right?  Sometimes you forget to pull it through the eye on the bobbin holder by holding the upper thread while hand turning the wheel.
