  1. dont be pestimistic just be like yeah i got this cuz i dont give a ****** man listen to extremely loud music that'll pump u up. know that ur better than the other team or other players and keep that in ur head. u'll do good trust me.

  2. you just need to chill, relax, before the event just forget about whatever pressure you have, and just forget about everything. maybe call up your friends and have a chat, use the computer, watch a funny tv show or movie, maybe if its a hot day even go relax in your garden, relax all your muscles, think of a really nice place you'd like to be, and before you know it you won't be half as nervous.

what most people don't know is that if they tense up they usually play a little worse than when they are relaxed and having fun.

think about it this way, would you be doing it if you didn't enjoy it?

just have fun! thats what life is about, whats the worst thing that could happen if you lose?

if you're on a team you're all in it together and you just support each other no matter what, nobodys going to blame it on you if you don't win!

    :)

  3. the best thing to do is to stay calm, concentrate and do your best. If you start to panic take a deep breath and focus.

  4. Take deep slow breaths and take it one or two points  at a time.  Keep a positive outlook and try to encourage yourself. Don't get caught up in the mistakes you have done, let it go you still have the next one to think about.

"Nervous energy is a natural part of the game... Interpret the excitement in tight situations as part of the test that makes you stronger in the future. What doesn’t kill you improves you... Welcome the uncertainty of competition as one of the most thrilling parts of the game. It never gets boring when you have a good struggle on your hands...Find joy in the struggle, and pressure will be an ally rather than foe."-----from tennis.com (link below)

  5. It's easy to think about the final result when getting ready to play a sporting event.  That is something you can't do.  Instead, concentrate on what you need to do in order to get there.  It will get your mind focused and not as anxious.  Remember, nerves are a good thing, it shows that you care.  Just make sure you channel it in the right way.

  6. Listening to music really helps me - it gets rid of the nervousness and gets me pumped up at the same time!  Listen to music while you visualize yourself winning the match - it really works!

  7. keep cool , breathe slowly and use whole words not tacky, childlike text-speak.

  8. See the bigger picture.  Remember that you're "playing" and you're supposed to enjoy it!

AND that there is a ton of learning in both loosing and winning.
