  1. CRT=cathode ray tube has a large electromagnetic field(analog)

    LCD=liquid crystal display(digital)

  2. CRT:

    •Bulky, heavy, large

    •Bad for the environment

    LCD (Liquid Crystal Display):

    •High-Def. Picture

    •Good for environment

    •Smaller, light, better appearance

  3. CRT screens are those big, bulky screens that computer users first started with and look much like those in the 1980's movies. However, technology as well as consumers prefer the LCD screen which is much thinner and takes up 90% less space on your desktop. There are also much more user friendly and cost less now than a few years ago. I suggest the LCD screen for your desktop, all laptops have LCD screens now.

    Sources below to further explain the differences.

  4. CRT screen is tha regular screen

    LCD screen is tha flat screen
