Kiai? Tang Soo Do is Korean, though... Should be Kihap.

I believe the other poster is correct.

Kiai is the Japanese word. So it is used in sports/arts like karate, judo, aikido, kendo, etc.

But since half of the martial arts teachers/practitioners out there do not really know that much about their art, this is a common mistake...
