  1. have to say i'm not a fan of Jamaica, it's a rough old place. and outside of the super high class hotels, quite dangerous.

Barbados is far nicer, as is st Lucia. just my personal opinion.

go to sandy lane in Barbados, it's an awesome hotel :-)

  3. Well there are so many amazing places to stay in Jamaica that it really depends on budget..

The buzz right now is Geejam Hotel in Port Antonio.. They also own The Caves in Negril. Many celebrities are traveling there, or have already been.

Island Outpost group owns the most amazing hotels. Not cheap by any means.. After that Royal Plantation, by Sandals gets a nod as well..

They are all the best for luxury accommodation's.. Sandals is a Couples hotel, but the Island Outpost hotels are for all really.

My speed is anywhere I can rest my head and enjoy Negril, Jamaica.

    Good Luck!

  4. The Holiday Inn at montego bay...amazing. I didn't stay there but it was very unconventional and had amazing openness and unique decor to it! The lobby had no walls and excellent service from what i have heard. They were building another amazing one when i went there three years ago. I forget the name but it is a giant resort, very modern and very large. 5 stars if your into that thing, and have the money! I went with my family to the Rose hall resort which i found to me very mediocre. Definitely recommend another resort! Good luck on your search!

  5. rIHUU I heard

  6. I went to Couples Ocho Rios resort and it was amazing!! It is an all inclusive resort and the people are all amazingly nice and fun! Not only is the scenery beautiful, there is a lot to do. They have events everyday, and you get the opportunity to go visit Bob Marley's house and the Dunn's River Falls. It was all just amazing! The only neg. thing to say was that i got realllly sick from drinking the tap water but that is in any hotel. So no complaints about Couples Resort at all!

They also have two or three other Couples resorts in Jamaica and im sure they are all as great. Check out the site:

  7. Taino Cove in Treasure Beach was nice for me. I enjoy laid back experiences and it was  the dose of relaxation that I needed so much.

  8. Caves in Negril, I used to work for Air Jamaica Vacations when Air Jamaica was owned by Butch Stewart and they took us to all of the properties that they were affiliated with for 2 weeks and that hotel was the best and most exotic by far.

    In order of preference

    1. Caves

    2. Couples Swept Away

    3. Grand Lido Braco

    4. Beaches Boscobel

    5. Riu Tropical Bay

  9. lol josh... violence is everywhere, you are obviously coward hehehe..

i like sandals and heddonism (sp?) no kids allowed though...

  10. It depends on what you want to do there, but if you like the all-inclusive thing, I think Couples in Negril is pretty good, everything was great- the wife and I got married there...

Plenty of activities, food, drink, relaxation...  Decent place to unwind.
