Question:

Whats the Best Free Fantasy Football Service Out There?

Trying to find out whats the best fantasy football service out there to move my private league to. I tried ESPN in 2006, it was "ok" but I hated the way they tried to promote their "insider" service. In 2007 I used MSN Fox but suffered major dissapointment, they not only ruined the draft but they had major tech issues during playoff time which pretty much caused the whole season to have been a big waste of time. They say they have "fixed" the bugs from 2007 but I dont want to risk losing another season. I heard Yahoo has a great service but is their live scoring really that great that is worth an additional $10 bucks? I would really appreciate some suggestions. Thanks.

  1. I play CBS, and in the free games there will only be 2 active teams left by the mid-season. Even the cheapest $30 leagues will only have maybe 5 active teams by that point. You have to go up to the $100 per season to possibly get full participation

  2. Draft Sharks website has everything you need to play fantasy football, it is not free however (https://www.draftsharks.com/choose_servi... But they do provide FREE Fantasy Football Emails daily from July 15-Sept 9 with Injury updates, training camp news, insider tidbits & more! Check them out -http://www.draftsharks.com/members/shark...

  3. yahoo is freaking awesome. s***w live scoring is it really to so important that u cant wait 24 hours.  but yes it's well worth 10 bucks

  4. I play Yahoo, ESPN, Fox, NFL.com, CBS, and AOL. Of those, I like the Yahoo and ESPN sites the best. You're going to get ads no matter who you go with. I wouldn't let that stop me from signing on there even if I wasn't already a member. The one thing that I really like about Yahoo is that on the few occassions where I have contacted customer support, they respond and have effectively answered what I needed to know. I don't use the real time scoring in any of the leagues where it's free - it has no value to me. I can figure out the points from the stats myself. It's not like you can yank one player during the game and substitute another in - the final score is what matters

Fox also said they had the bugs fixed the last two years. I wouldn't play in that one as my only leagues, or an important league, until they have a full season with very few problems.
