Poker is the best because you don't play against the house. You play against other players.

If you don't know how to play poker too well, the best games in the casinos are 1) blackjack, 2) craps and 3) baccarat. They have the lowest house-advantage.

I propose blackjack is the best game because

1.  The exhisting house advantage is generally smaller than any other game

2.  It is the only game in the casino where a skilled player can turn the tables on the house and expect to win money.

After blackjack craps and baccarrat are not too far behind in terms of the hosue advantage.
