Whats the FASTEST free Zune MP3 VIDEO FILE CONVERTER?

Ive spent all week downloading vintage Jem and the Hologram episodes and savoring the idea of watching them during long train rides and now im heartbroken to see that i cant have them on my Zune! i've downloaded about three file converting programs today but they all seem to suck, its taking over two hours for some of them to convert a 22 minute avi video. Is it supposed to go that slow? Am i just being impatient or are there faster options? Please recommend some FAST video file converter programs to convert avi's into wmv's or mp4's for my zune. Your help is much appreciated!!!

If you have Windows Movie Maker and are running Windows Vista, then import them into WMM. Drag them to the timeline and publish the movies. When you get to the part about movie settings, click the last option that allows you change the setting. Then choose the setting that is 320x240.  If I remember correctly it took me about an hour to publish a 40 minute video clip. It's been awhile since I did that so I don't remember for sure. If it is taking a long time to convert then do what I do when I want to convert movies. I set the computer up to convert overnight.

Fastest will also depend on your computer.
