Ok so right now Im using Herbal Essences Dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair smelling ah-mahzing for a couple of days, but doesnt make my hair straight AT ALL. I straighten my hair about 3 times a week, and its so damaged. its shoulder length and is so THICK and curls in and poofs and i hate it. my hair is soo rough and ive only highlighted it once.

whats the best hair line to use if you want straight managable hair??? i have no problem with the color coming out i just want my hair to look, smell and feel nice. and btw i dont want anything really strong that will damage my hair cuz im still young XD

Please help me i want my hair to look ah mazing for back to school and right now it does not. :-(

n btw price is not a problem

thx soo soo soo much!!!!!

  1. If you use a chemical straightener (as in opposite of perm) that often on your hair, the only thing to do is cut it short and wait for the damage to grow out.  If you mean that you straighten it with a straightening iron, you could probably help stop the damage by using a round brush and blow dry it straight, then use the iron just to get the kinks out.  I have found that the Aveda product line is absolutely amazing for damaged hair.  You could also find out about any products that activate with heat (I know there is one out there in the supermarket, but can't think what it is) -- you should be able to find several options at your local beauty salon.  Find a good hot oil treatment for once a week use and make sure to use a good conditioner and wash it out completely.  Then stick with a non-frizz product that helps to straighten from Aveda (or a line that you trust).  You could also ask your stylist to thin out your hair a little if it is too thick.  Good luck.

  2. Redkin and Biolage are the best from my expirience :)

  3. Try beyond the zone. You can get it from sally's beauty supply store. Works wonders. I have the same type of hair as your and i use there board straight and i love it.
