I'm talking about Semi-Trucks, construction equipment, and also big pickups that farmers and construction workers use. These vehicles run on diesel and get below 10mpg. But they are needed to do big jobs and big-rigs are what transports our goods from coast to coast. Can technology improve the mpgs or is there a viable alternative fuel?

  1. WE have all the technology and alternative fuel sources we need it's just that a lot of greedy arseholes and neurotic economists are reluctant for us to end our dependancy on oil - think magnetism high powered magnetic propelled motors or biodiesel

  2. Their economy will have to adjust.  The truckers will have to raise thier prices, do what they can to save fuel in cost-effective manners, and their customers will have to decide if it is worth the higher costs that they will have to charge.  The market will work it out.
