Whats the approximate length and width of a Chutes&&Ladders board?

I need about the right size so the board Im making isnt so big. Thanxx! =D

Remember that Chutes and Ladders has 100 squares and the game board is usually 10 by 10.  If you make each square 1 inch by 1 inch, then the board is 10 inches by 10 inches.  You want to allow for a little slack, so you would probably need at least 1 foot by 1 foot.
