It really depends.  Like the person said above, cheap beer is around $12 for 12 beers.

Average beers, Shiner, etc., are around $6.50 for a six pack.

Premium beers go anywhere from $7.50 a six pack to $12.50 a six pack.

At a bar, any regular beer is going to be around $5.  Premiums are more, up to $10.
