Whats the average price of a beer in Canada?

Going to Vancourver and Victoria.

Also any idea what the average price of a meal in a restaurant is?

For a domestic bottle of beer in Vancouver its 3.50 - 4.50. For a pint like 5-7. And for a sit down meal at an average restaurant you're looking at about $30 (for 2) if you're not drinking and just getting an entree or about $60 (for 2) if you're going all out . Of course you could just grab a slice of pizza or a bagel for a meal and thats like $3-$5.

I live in Vancouver and I think the average cost for a bottle of Granville Island brew is like $5+tax.
