Whats the average salary or wage of Calgary EMT-P??

Im 16 years old and graduate from high school in 2010. Ever since i was a kid i wanted to become a paramedic. I dont really how much they make, but i do know its not a lot for someone who save peoples lives every day. So yea im curious on how much paramedics make.

It doesn't pay well but it is a great life.  $16,000 a year. /
