  1. Bonding with your child will help a baby feel secure and learn to trust other people -- she knows that she can depend on someone. And this will affect how she relates to others later on in life and how she handles stress." You'll know your baby has bonded with you when she reaches for you when something happens, cries when you leave her, and coos in response to your voice.

Check out this site, I know it's Dummies.com - don't mean your dumb, but I though it's an easy read, it also tells you how bonding benefits you.

  2. When parents and children bond it makes parenting better and makes growing up much better on the children.  The stronger the bond the better.

  3. The bond between a child and parent is very important and crucial for the child's well being.. Without this bond the child will grow up with a negative outlook and will find it hard to trust or love anyone else. The child will separate themselves from the rest of the world and will not grow as a normal person should.
