Whats the best HDTV picture setting?

I have a Sharp LC-46D64U. I need help on what I should put the picture settings to.

Please give me stats like:

For example:

Brightness: +8 or -8

You should get a DVD test disc such as Digital Video Essentials or Avia Guide to Home Theater.  Those will guide you to set up your set for best results.

I highly recommend the test disc, however.
