  1. Ali vs Frazier! All three wars. Styles make fights and their styles combined to make great fights!

  2. It really tough to pick my best, because a lot of the ones before I was born could easily be the winner.

Just to make it simple on myself, I'll pick one that I actually saw during my lifetime and keep in mind I was born in 1977. I'd have to go with either Holyfield-Moorer 1 or Bowe-Holyfield 2.

  3. Ali v. Foreman for drama, and just boxing artistry - Ali proving again that brains and true skill can beat even the biggest puncher (can you imagine anyone being as calm as he was in there against a monster like Foreman?)

Tua v. Ike for sheer action, two really big punchers with unbelievable chins just letting their hands go like light heavyweights - after watching that one its hard not to look now and just wish Ike didn't have all those screws loose, and Tua had stayed dedicated to becoming a big time champ.

  4. There are two ways I can answer this question sir.  The greatest fight as far as anticipation and drama leading up to it was no doubt the first Muhammad vs Joe Frazier heavyweight championship fight between the two undefeated fighters at that time.  As far as great fights go, there are two that I will call a tie as the greatest heavyweight fights I've ever seen.  One was the title fight between  Ken Norton and Larry Holmes.  Both men took turns rocking the other one and there was nonstop action and lots of leather being thrown between the two warriors.  The other one was the heavyweight slugfest between George Foreman and Ron Lyle.  To this very day, I've never seen anything like it!   These two took turns rocking each other and knocking each other down.  It looked liked Foreman was about to get knocked out by Lyle, then he came roaring back as these guys just kept slugging away at each other and not giving the other guy an inch.  Anybody that has never seen this fight, needs to purchase it or at least watch some of it on youtube.  Incredible fights that I'll never forget.

  5. in recent years???  holyfield - tyson 1

of all time??? i couldn't pick just one.

    ali-frazier 1 & 3

    ali-foreman

    clay-liston

    patterson-johansson 2

    dempsey-firpo.

  6. Rahman v. Lewis was an great fight.

  7. One of my favourites was the Micheal Moorer vs Bert Cooper WBO heavyweight title match a while back. It only lasted about five rounds but both guys were knocked down numerous times in a really exciting fight before Moorer finally managed to KO Cooper and get the win.

  8. Somebody please tell the poster above Ali and Marciano never fought.

I vote for Norton-Holmes, as well. I've of course seen the Ali-Foreman fight on video and consider it a masterpiece by Ali. For more recent fights, I think that Holyfield's dismantling of Tyson was a stellar performance.

  9. foreman v lyle

    holmes v norton

tyson v spinks left me in awe, thought tyson was a freak who could never be beat after watching that, but i was only 12

  10. ali-frazier 1 & 3

  11. Ali/Frazier  &  Ali/Marciano

  12. Ali VS Foreman

  13. in this era david tua vs ike ibeabuchi!!!!!!!!! nobody in the history of boxing, or any humanbeing could duplicate the power and granite chins like theses two in this fight!!! the fight was unrealistic almost!. i thought david tua really won but whatever..

  14. Tyson vs Hollyfield..
