Whats the best Martin Acoustic Guitar for a decent price?

I'm looking for a present for my dad who has always wanted a martin guitar and i want to surprise him with one and don't know a lot about them any info will help

shop them online get a price range and then get your questions together, martins get way up in the dollars

I own two Martin guitars; an M-38 and an OM-45.  The OM-45 is not made anymore but they do have an OM-42 in their product line.  It's a wonderful, versatile guitar and I recommend it highly.
