for starters the worse possible fish food are feeder fish. for best color i use hikari gold found at any pet store, its a pellet form food. also i like to go to a local market and buy them any kind of sea food, like shrimp, fish fillets, mollusks ect.

thers vitamin additives in liquid form u can buy at local pet stores also, its cool to buy fresh shrimp, or fish fillet ect, cut the fillets to bite size pieces and let soak in the vitamin juice for a while(till food turns color of the vitamin juice, prolly green) then bag them up and store in freezer.

you can take as little or much out as wanted with this method for feeding and it is best for color and not giving your fish any type of parasite or disease and is a well balanced diet
