  1. I spend almost all of my surfing time in southern New Jersey or South Carolina. There is no way I would ever put my two favorite breaks on line, and encourage people to show up there, and make them more crowded. With that said, New Jersey has great surfing lots of places from September to June. There can be lots of good days in the summer, too. Unfortunately, it's damned cold in the winter. N. & S. Carolina both have good surfing spots. The outter banks is almost legendary. Almost all of California is a surf rich coast line. You can find these spots in a surf magazine, so good luck. Talk to your surf pals, because the rest of us really won't give up our favorite breaks on line.

  2. i'd have to say santa cruz, ca where we have 11 world class surf breaks including steamer lane and pleasure point. i'm from santa cruz so maybe i'm a little biased. i also really like the north shore of hawaii (backdoor and pipeline) as well as mavericks in half moon bay, ca.

  3. Where else but surf city USA or Hunnington Beach

  4. entirely a matter of opinion, there isn't a best spot. i went to bali a few years back and it was huge, scary!, south africa has loads of good breaks, j-bay world class, durban also gets pumping end of summer.

  5. The one you're surfing right that moment.  Everything else is just past or future and has no baring on the moment now.

Generally speaking, it's all relative to what type of surfing you're in the mood for, what your possibilities of travel are, what your surfing skills are and many other factors.

  6. well i would recomend  silverstrand beach.

  7. Santa Cruz, CA  Hawaii, Orange County, CA, Florida, New Jersy shors.  Santa Cruz is number 2 surf spot in the world and the best part about it...I live 40 min away from it lol. IF u dont believe me go look up Santa Cruz, Surfing capital of the world

  8. If you are not including hawaii....

    TRESTLES, Ventura, La Jolla

    Their all in Cali.

    westside the best side.

  9. if you listed the state you live in it would be easier to help you.

I live in southern California and my fav. spots are

    trestles

    El Porto

topanga (my local spot, just south of Malibu)

    pipes (San Diego)

my favorite country to surf in is def. Nicaragua.. offshore winds 300 days a year.... hmmmmm =)
