Find out what customers want and try to provide this. If you're trying to do this the easy way and it will only serve to make you money, chances are you will find yourself in a very competitive market and earnings will leave you disappointed.

If you do it with passion and become good at what you do, then word of mouth will help you. If you become the best, customers will run your door down. You know how it goes!

You could start canvassing in your neighborhood once you have items to sell to let everyone know you have a source. That will allow you to get a feel for your local market and this gives you an opportunity to learn directly from customers what they want.

Don't!  Unless you have some VERY good designs, then it's a very cut throat market.

There are some firms such as printshop.co.uk that have a standard range of clothing and you provide the design.  They host your shop, print the Ts and give you a percentage of the income.
