  1. here are the subs' specs=

    Max Output Power 1600 Watt

    Nominal Output Power 400 Watt

    Sensitivity 89 dB

    Impedance 4 Ohm - DVC

    Response Bandwidth 25 - 400 Hz

so you need an amp with about 800watts RMS @ 1 or 4ohms and is also CEA-compliant (which means that the amp has been tested to produce or exceed the advertised RMS wattage with minimum distortion)

here are your wiring options for different impedance's (ohms) http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer... at 4ohms it will sound cleaner than at 1ohm but the amp needed will have to be larger (more money), and if you go with 1ohm you need to find a CEA-compliant amp that is stable at 1ohm (most are only stable at 2ohms) but i know Fosgate makes one

here are the top CEA-compliant brands

    Alpine

    Bazooka

    Blaupunkt

    Clarion

    Eclipse

    Infinity

    JBL

    JL Audio

    Kenwood

    Kicker

    MTX

    Pioneer

    Polk Audio

    Rockford Fosgate

    Sony
