  1. cup of hot tea (sweeten to your taste)

    and

    graham crackers

  2. PB and J  and a glass of milk. Not too fatting and will hold you over to the am. If you are worried about weight use reduced fat milk and less than normal PB.

  3. If you are wanting to know what is quick and easy before bed then I would definitely agree with the PB&J...but if you are concerned about weight... I would stay away from most of the stuff listed in these responses.

I would suggest eating something that takes almost as many calories to chew and digest as it contains. Carrots, celery, grapes, string beans, saltines... also 1tbsp of hummus to dip those in if you prefer to eat veggies in a dip! good luck!

  4. Mm you can't go wrong with toast! But always try something with fibre so it rests in your stomach - something like bananas!

  5. graham and milk are a great snack give you a great sootheing feeling in your stomach and helps you sleep well

  6. Pretzels are good...39 pretzel sticks have 110 calories.

Also a small apple,it has low calories and high fiber.

Light yogurt..dannon light & fit has 60-80 calories..

Oatmeal..quaker lower sugar instant oatmeal 110-130 varying on flavor.

  7. Milk and an apple. Milk supposedly helps you relax and apples are good for calming your stomach and cleaning your teeth. Chamomile tea is always great too.

  8. get a snack

    veggies

    fruit

    yogert

even whole gain or blue corn nachoes or DELISIOUS!!!

and very heathy with some salsa ;)

  9. I eat right before I go to bed.  Don't worry about not eating 2 hours before you go to sleep.  That's just c**p.  I usually eat a peanut butter sandwhich or cottage cheese.  Sometimes fruit.  I try to stay away from simple carbs (sugars) even though I know peanutbutter has a bunch it's high in protein.  Then again my diet is focussed mainly on High Protein to gain muscle.  Just make sure you don't eat a whole lot.   I mean if it's s******g up your sleep pattern that's worse then eating something sensible before you go to bed.  Have  a healthy snack and Good Luck!

  10. Hot chocolate (the milk is soothing) and crackers (get rid of your hunger but they are light so you won't get integestion). Don't have apple or grapefruit as they wake you up and don't have anything heavy like meats or heavy carbs as it's not good for your digestion right before you go to sleep. Cheese gives ppl nightmares apparently if you have it close to bedtime.. and.. now I'm hungry, gona go find some crackers..

  11. ~ Veggies and hummus

~ Omelet with egg whites, veggies and no cheese

~ Peanut butter (all natural peanut butter) and veggies

I would go with a protein and veggie mix.

If you have a sweet tooth do a banana and baby spinach smoothie in the blender or a mango and banana mix.

Hope that gives you a few healthy ideas.

  12. A bit of protein, ie: a slice of lunch meat, spoonful of PB or a slice of cheese and some crunches. This will boost your metabolism while you sleep and the protein will sustain you until morning. IF you can't fight the sweet craving, douse your tongue with a bit of stevia...it's overkill and you won't want anything sweet for a while.

  13. Fruit!! because it has fiber to fill you up and and the same time not giving you a bunch of calories. plus its refreshing!

  14. milk and cookies

  15. cereal. its light on your tummy :)

  16. a big bowl of cheddar chex mix!

  17. A drink some milk and cookies, or I eat some grapes.

  18. I usually eat cereal if I'm hungry before going to bed, or something warm like brownies or cookies.   Hot chocolate or milk can get me through the night as well.  Anything hot or warm usually makes it easier to sleep.
