  1. Condoms are good if you can get the dude to use them. I was ont the Depo Provera shot for about nine months and I don't like the side effects. but it is convienient and you don't have to remember a pill everyday, so I guess that's good about it, also I didn't get pregnant on it, so that was a plus. You can do the Nuva Ring, that is something you insert and wear for three weeks and then take it out for one week to have your period and so on like that. There is a patch that you can change weekly, and then there are IUD's. I have the copper one because it is hormone free, but that's not for everyone, especially if you want children within the next few years. You can use a diaphragm too.
