I'm so confused I was 1st looking at the GARMIN NUVI 200W Then the GARMIN NUVI 250W GPS but then finally I think the GARMIN NUVI 260W GPS sounds better since it announces the street names also and not just turn in 500 feet or whatever... But what do you think? if you have one please let me know how it is and if it finds houses easily? Thank you :/

  1. I have an Acura with a built in Navigation, but before I bought my Acura I had done a bit of research on GPS. When it comes to GPS theres a general rule of thumb. If it's more expensive, than it's probably better than the cheaper one. The cheap ones show a block, you, and a highlighted arrow. The more expensive ones show you, the road, the street names, geographical icons like schools, churches, fast food and so on, and not to mention they are very customizable with detailed features. There are many people in my workplace with aftermarket GPS and as far as which brand is best, Id say anything but TOMTOM. So far everyone who've I met that has TOMTOM has complained about it. GARMIN has seemed like an alright brand, and MAGELLAN is fairly decent from what I've heard as well. Good luck on that.
