I would suggest that you rephrase your question as to what kind of fish you will be housing in your new Aquarium.

Do you want a rectangular or hexagonal tank? Are you raising salt or freshwater fish? That is much more important.

you actually have a choice of either glass or acrylic materials. Pet stores and shops will carry well made stuff. Check out the thickness of the glass and the quality of the sealing on the seams. I think with pumps, filters and such is where you'll get a lot of different opinions.
