Whats the best breed of rabbit??

Question

i want a dwarf dutch rabbit because theyre small and cute. but what other breeds of rabbits do you like... i do not want a big rabbit though.

I have been told by a rescue that the Lops and Flemish Giants are the friendliest. I have been told to avoid the Lionhead rabbits however. Good luck!

I myself love the chocolate satins, but they are a bigger rabbit. I know your question was asking what kind of SMALL breed rabbit, so I would recommend the Holland Lop. Theyre very cute and very mild. I have raised rabbits all my life (also many other animals) and have had several different breeds.

A dwarf Dutch is not a breed. There are Netherland Dwarfs or Dwarf Hotots and there are Dutch. Those are three separate breeds.

As far as small docile rabbits -- Dutch or Himalayans are very calm. The Dwarfs can be high strung.

hello there!

every rabbits have their own personalities.some may be hard to get along with but with proper care,they can be trained.and some may be naturally sweet and great to have as a companion.

for small breeds,i suggest a dwarf hotot.they are usually nice to their owners.plus if you're looking for something soft and cute,a dwarf hotot is great.they have and "eyeliner" on their eyes and makes them look like egyptian queens.i have one also.

you may also like a mini lop.they're just the same as the dwarf hotot.cute,cuddly,sweet.

but again,it depends on the personality of the rabbit.

Holland Lop bucks, I have two and they are sweet (to me) and they are cute and only get up to 4 pounds. They are the best tempered too.

i found a wild rabbit out side I'm not sure what kind he is i love him tho and he's really nice every rabbit is nice and deserves love get the kind you like good luck and hope he has the great attitude you have

i have a mini rex! they have the softest fur ever! they are pretty small and so adorable! he thinks he runs the house!i highly suggest this breed of rabbit!

I would suggest the Mini Rex. They are a small breed, at around 4 pounds. There is no such breed as a dwarf Dutch. There is just the Dutch breed. They grow to be about 4 1/2- 51/2 pounds.

So either one is consdiered a small breed.

Please buy your rabbit from a reputable breeder not from a petstore.

You will not get a purbred rabbit in a store.

I like the dutch rabbits, you should stick with those. they are the perfect size. I have had them all my live.
